[This really is the absolute worse shape he's ever been in after a full moon. Sure he's had fights before and come across his fair share of wounds, but they've always healed; there had never, to this point, been any scarring. However, without a doubt his luck has come to an end. His healing gifts do not work here at the Keep and he hadn't healed at all with his shifting at the full moon.

When Sycora begins to attend to the wound at his ribs, he hisses out slowly between gritted teeth. It hurt. It hurt quite a lot, actually. His hands clench around the blanket, but even as he trembles slightly, he makes no other large movement that might distract or make things harder for the healer. Pinching the wound closed probably helped a whole lot, but it didn't feel too good.
When she's done, he's sweating, but the ebbing of pain makes up for it. Then she's palpating his stomach region and he actually chokes back on a scream as she hits the spot that centers the worst of the pain, doubling him over in the cot.]
