[Alex is a damned fine patient, remaining as still as he can and trying not to make a sound as Sycora works. It's not an attempt to impress or otherwise beguile her, but simply a precaution. He had no way of knowing how her abilities worked, but he knew it would probably be a good idea not tonwigglemaround or disturb her while she worked. However as she lifts the blanket off of his torso and arms he can't help the shiver and holding of breath. God, but he still hurt .. What the hell had he gotten into out there???
His arms are relatively free of injury, save for a series of scratches on the shoulder that's up. His back, when she gets there, has two lengthy slashmarks that go from shoulder diagonally down across his back, ending about at his waist. If those look like slightly dulled sword slashes, she'd be most correct. Beneath those, his lower back is burned and red.
On his torso itself, there is a matter and rather ugly looking slash down his left ribs. It hadn't been so bad initially, but the fight hadn't helped and it looks red and angry and there is visible rib at the worst parts of it.
Beneath that, along his abdomen, is mottled dark purple and red bruising. His innards had taken a beating and there is something in there that's ruptured, although Alex couldn't tell you what precisely. He only knows it hurts no matter what position he's in.
